I see A super cool opportunity here .Get another pair of rear fenders and put right on left ,left on right ,up side down,,, cut them into fender skirts hiding the top with the rear fender chrome strip. That car is screaming for wide whites[IMG]

Now thats the kind of work that really impresses me. Minimal fancy tools, mega creative mind, and a lot of sweat. Beautiful job!!

Thanks Jeff. I had been looking at a mandrel bend to start the corners. I couldn't tell what direction you made your pie cuts. Again great tech that for sure will be copied by more than a few folks.

thanks guys, im glad most people are appreciating me taking the time to put this post together
    ;-)

Studeboy, copy away, thats why I posted it. The cuts go to the inside of the radius, that way when you bend the pipe it closes the pie cut and you can weld it up.

Some of the best work I've seen around here! You have a great eye for flow in styling.

Time, perserverance, and talent will always overcome the lack of fancy tools. Well done!

you have no idea how many people are loving this color! I had already bought 1g.l of silver but I decided this car wanted something a little more special.
The great part is, this paint is right up my ally as far as being cheap @ $75gl.

The funny part?, Its really close to the sea foam green on the car originally, but w/ a lot of metallic. Almost like it was meant to be.
