  1. G'day guys
I have a a few pretty basic questions here goes...

Ive got a few mm play in the fit of my spring inside the front crossmember of my roadster project. Im buildig a A repro ch***is. Is this acceptable?

Should the King pins be a push in fit or a press in fit into the axle holes?

    Thanks guys

    Steve

HI . The play won`t be a problem ( the spring center bolt & the spring-clamps will keep it from moving in a not-wanted way ) and the King-pin should be a push-in-fit . [IMG]
BTW .. What kind of axle / spindels do you have ..
Also.. A too tight fit between Xmbr & spring would brobably give you an anoying "Squeek"-sound every time the spring moved upn`down ..
