has anybody put a chevy front end under a 63 ford truck f100 2x4 just wondering because i dont like the looks of the steight axle and leaf spings and i have a 83 chevy front end with disk brakes i think it would be easier to lower to?

Guys have probably thought about it but I would get the tape measure out and see how close the frames are in width right at the "axle" center line. I think that the Ford frame is several inches wider than that Model of Chev frame.
There have been posts on here that have discussed putting a later Crown Vic crossmember and suspension under pickups and they fit that model of F 100 pretty well but the wheel selection is pretty limited as those Sedans have a pretty wide track.
Here, see what Carcrafter22 did on his truck http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/716058-buildup-06-crown-vic-front-suspension-into-67-f100.html
