I have lurked on the HAMB for a long time now and would like to be a little more involved with this group. I started with a 64 Davis FED and ran with the Southwest Jr Fuel group for two years. We decided to start a Supercharged group to keep the costs a little more in line. It seems to be working and we are finishing up our third season with the TBFA. I decided last year to build my dream car, a new 1968 Top Fuel look alike. It took me around 900 hours to have it ready to race. It is finishing up its first season and I thought I would share a little of the build. The winter will see the addition of the full body and the support equipment to keep it on the track. I have watched several folks on here build the cars that still make us smile. I am truly impressed with the quality of the people here. I still look at tons of websites, but only post on this one. Thanks for the forum.
love to see the build pics too! I wonder how you feel going to a supercharged series would keep costs more in line then a jr fueler??? Paul
Welcome and good for you for coming out of the lurker closet and including yourself in the forum. I too am looking forward to your build pics. My son and I are just starting a 160" comp coupe build.
I would love to see pictures of the project. You might want to check this social group out here on the HAMB Front Engine Dragsters http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?groupid=414
