There has been lots of support along the way. I had a fed in the 50s with a 302 chev. it was tons of fun then. in the 90s i had another, think it was a weibe car out of KC. When we went to the east hrr in BG it got my fire up. so in 03 started gathering parts, free 283 and glide, was to be the eng and trans. lots of parts later, still getting there. having problems with injection, and hopefully will get it finished this coming w/e at douglas ga . having a nostalgia meet there with lots of old time knowledge. hope to see you in mokan.good luck great looking car.

Nick, dont think Gateways Tech guy would like this car much. It is 1964 tech. and they are strict. This car is going to go to Sikeston and Benton Ill. and of coarse MoKan!
The car is a 137" wheel base.
Monsterflake, yeah you could get around here just fine. Would like to have you come down and check it out. Maybe next sat? or something.

Oh yea, the Kansas City Timing Assoc. has a reunion in May that you could run the gal at KCIR........I think......the former Gasser Reunion from Wentsville was moved to KCIR.

Ha Ha,That's funny. I asked my highway patrolman neighbor if there was any where I could go to shake my dragster down without towing to the track and he said just pull it out in front of your house I don't care.
    So......I did.LOL
The cops arrived directly and said I've never impounded a dragster before and that I had 1 seriously pissed offf HiPo down the street.
They didn't impound the dragster and my neighbor hasn't spoken to me since.
Oh well,Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke.;)

I call them all the time on the weekends (free cell phone minutes) and I cross reference via the phone book. It amazes me how many cars were forsale in the midwest area. I have found a few guys on the phone who resource me to to buddy that he sold it to, and on and on. I have tracked down a couple, and I stop by their house every now and then.

Not really an up date. Havent done much to the digger. Been trying to keep it together so people could look at it. I am a garageaholic, my name is Bri... hold on wrong place, anyway. This week it is coming apart beond reconigiton.(sic?).
But if you have been following this story, my partner Tom Masa did some drag racing back in the day. And here he is puttin Emory Cook on the trailer at the 1966 US Nationals.( go 1min. 44sec.) This is after the Drag Master car was lenghtened to 138". Look at the ''gate job'' Tom put on the big name. But the Hemi came to life and ran tom down but the DragMaster got there first. See most of these parts in action at the H.A.M.B. Drags 2007 Joplin MO.http://wediditforlove.com/video/Indy1966.wmv

Please post up when you are going to take it to Sikeston. I'd love to roll over there and check it out. I haven't been there since I sold my race car last year. I am only an hour west and I'd love to see it run, not too much tech to worry bout over there. You should haul it down to George Ray's down in Ar. A FED down the strip that time forgot would be awesome.
