I've got an early '30s Chevy frame (thanks Kritz) and I'd like to use the front springs. Because I can't do a suicide front end I'd like to see some options for running this type of suspension. Also, I'd like to know the pros and cons of this setup.
My plans are for a PU cab, fenderless, maybe with a box but haven't decided that part yet.

I'm running them up front of my roadster... I like the look and am ordering some new lighter springs from ESPO for her. I'm also going to turn those backing plates into caliper mounts for the disc brakes...

hey Donnie. if you need new leaf springs, or some work on your stock ones, ****o's brother (Springer) works at a spring shop in Grand Rapids. Charlie (the man in charge) is awesome with springs. he's been doing suspension and spring work for like a hundred and twenty years or something. he can help you plan what you'll need for new leaves or to fix/modify your existing springs. he's done a great deal of design work on leaf springs.
