Can someone tell me what the front track width is on a '73 -87' GM 1/2 ton. This ch***is seems to be very popular under COE's - is it because it fits well or is it because it is more readily available? The decision about what ch***is to use seems to be very easy when someone gives you a ch***is for nothing - hell anything'll work! But when you have to go and shell out the bucks the decision isn't quite as easy - and a mistake can be costly. Thanks,
Here you go 2nd is front 3rd is rear GM truck 106.5, 64.5, 63.0 -- '73-'91 Chevy Blazer 2WD 106.5, 65.75, 62.75--'73-'91 Chevy Blazer 4WD 131.5, 65.8, 62.7 -- '73-'87 Chevy C-10, K-10 131.5, 65.8, 62.7 -- '73-'87 Chevy C-20, K-20, C30 164.5, 65.8, 62.7 -- '73-'91 Chevy C-30 Crew Cab 129.5, 65.8, 62.7 -- '73-'91 Chevy Suburban
presuming track width is measured outside to outside of tyres my donor truck ('83 crewcab) is...front 73.5 and rear is 82". my rear axle is the narrow version to suit original utility body. The full size dually with wide rear fenders has a wider rear axle. about 8" wider I think
