Just recently pulled from my 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air with 40,000 original miles on it, this 235 straight 6 ran great with no issues. No knocking, Smoking, or ticking, this 235 was well kept up and ran beautiful. The 3spd transmission also had no issues and shifted fine, no grinding or slipping when shifting gears.
