DREW, the show was awesome Sat. Night. The Rhythmaires were awesome. Ed was getting down on the upright. There was a great turn out too. You'll have to go next time.

 

I did'nt know if you guys had ended up making it or not. That is cool. I will try to make the next one.

 

Thanks for the kind words Brandon. I thought we were a little flat saturday but I still had a great time. Hope you got to stay for the Modern Don Jauns. They tore it up! Great meeting the little lady. Yall should come to my wifes dance studio this saturday for the grand opening. Probably wont make the Tuesday hang this week. Still got a lot to do before saturday. Also great seein you and Drew at the Thaw. You guys get the "********" award from me!

Back home to get the enduro bike to go meet off road ridin guys

 

I could not make it I had to get this 67 Chev finished for a customer so after wrenching late I just need to fine tune a couple of things and it is gone. I should be there next week. Steve also texted me and said that he had another thing he had to go to and could not make it. I hope that next week the owner of the 67 will bring it out, I know it is not 65 and earlier but he can either drive his new Tahoe out or a cool little 67 longbed pickup. He wants to meet some folks that are into old cars and ask some questions etc. He is doing all the aesthetics on the truck I am just handling the mechanical to make it a reliable driver. It has a 350 crate motor, Edelbrock carb and intake but a TH400 behind it that would not get you over 60 on the highway without running 3500 RPMs. After doing all the mintenance and fixing all the leaks and electrical I put in dual electric fans and adapted the 67 AC to the newer style compressor and then installed a 700R4 ******. I am finishing up all the tuning today so it should run nice.

 

I guess nobody went out there last night. Sorry G***er300, I think next week will be better. I know I will be there for sure. I'm feeling alot better today.

Boom-Boom, we will be there Sat night for the Grand Opening. Can't wait to hear you guys play again.

im gonna make it NEXT week (whenever that is) i swear! i need to be around some equally warped minds for a while... and pick a brain or two. i'll bring the PIMP out but look forward to seeing the '67 (and anything with wheels). I am working on my grandad's '67 C10 right now... it was the only thing that man ever bought new and it was one of the last things he let go of.

 

How early can you get tickets for the Contenintal club gigs? Every year it fills up and I end up listening from the sidewalk.

 

That is kool about your grandad's 67, they are great looking trucks and I have really enjoyed working on this one. I wish I had 1 or 2 of the kool cars my old man has had over the years.

Sorry that I had to miss it last week but will make it tomorrow night. I am bringing my nephew with me so how many cars are going to be able to make it? If it does not get picked up I plan on driving the 67 that I am working on.

I'll be there tonight. I might be there a little later, I have to fix a leak on the trannsmission. I just have to let the sealant dry before I can put the fluid back in. Apparently, the lowerend of the dipstick tube leaking is normal.. Just got off the phone with Ray's Transmission and they said it's ok to put some rtv around the o-ring and let it dry, should fix the slow leaker. The guy said they do that on alot of transmissions.

didnt get the t back together. Found a cracked head, found a set of heads today and traded a older riding mower for them. hopefully have it back together this weekend or early next week.

 

David, now worries. Just get the T done for the Roundup. The hangout will always be here. Plus, the Friday night hangout should be cool.
