Ok so I have decided to replace the tank in my '40 Ford 2dr Sedan, I bought a poly-tank. I have also decided to go to an electric fuel pump, here is my plan/lay out. As I said I purchased the poly tank... The first thing in line would be a good filter, I think I will use a Wix canister type with a water separator built into the canister, I have a Carter low pressure 6v electric fuel pump that would come next in line, and a Holley pressure regulator. I want to mount the filter and the pump near the tank, use soft stainless to the front near the firewall, where I want to mount the regulator. I will then enter the engine compartment with tubing then go to rubber for the carb, similar to factory for the final connection. I want to put a hidden switch in the p***enger compartment. In the future I want to have a 2 carb set up on top of my flattie.

Is there anything I am forgetting? Do they make a 6v impact shut off switch?
Has anybody worked with the "soft stainless tubing"? how is it to work with?

Use a mesh type filter before the pump not a paper filter
