I would like to get feedback on anyone having a problem with this type of fuel filter leaking at the seal. As you can see in the picture with the chrome cover. I bought this at So Cal I have changed the seal with an "o" ring type because the original type is not available any sources is appreciated.

    Thanks

The original seal is available. NAPA carries it. You can also get it from most HVAC shops that service oil furnaces.

  4. Yeah, I had one that leaked. Turns out the seal was folded over right out of the box. I think I ended up getting a hardware store O-ring and all was well.

They are pretty crappy filters compared to my old favorite AC Delco GF62C...........which has been discontinued :(

    Thanks
I was going to resurface the filter bowl to make sure it has a straight edge before I put in the new seal.

  6. I found out that the seal under the allen bolt that hold the filter bowl in place was not seated properly so I found a better seal for it.

    Thanks
