i am going to put a 350/350 in my 52 crestline vert, but am considering going with FI instead of the old carb, would this be to modern for shows or dont it matter my thought was a gm toilet bowl injection or maybe a holley carb thats FI (these are a little bit of $$$$) ----- any thoughts on this or has someone gone this route before and liked the performance
A complete TBI 350/700R from an early '90s pickup makes a good installation as long as you aren't too concerned about ultimate performance. Decent torque, reliable, satisfactory mileage. Put a big air cleaner on top, wire it carefully (computer in the ****pit), and go with it.
I did a 54 chevy and a 72 chevy p/u. Both worked out very well. Have TPI on my 5w. Would do it again. IMHO it's a goo set up.
see i have a old 94 chevy wrecker with a 305 in it and a 350 on the stand thats supposed to go in it but was thinking bout gutting the wrecker for all the donor material that will be needed
it ****s!!!!!! still looking for a staight job and get out of ownership but will keep looking and tring to promote the towing as much as i can
