So I am interested in shortening my fiat's mild steel altered chassis from 125 to around 104-106 and using a sprung drop axle of some sort. Any info on a source for such an item would be helpful also pics if any of you have one. Not sure if I'll go spring behind, torsion or even friction shocks yet, just getting ideas. Total weight,of the car is 1870. I really like the look of Speedway drilled drop axle but it is 44" wide if I remeber right, My current front end is about 35" king pin to king pin. Guess I could always shorten it? Anyhow let me hear your thoughts and recommendations.
