Fuel Line and its size!!???

    Im gonna start running my fuel line tonight. Im gonna use standard brake/fuel line. whats the average size used by most? Im thinking 5/16

    The old 'standard' is 5/16" for most stock passenger vehicles, however alot of big block and four barrel cars came with 3/8". Racers or guys running multi carbs will often go 1/2".

    For the Bean, I'd use 3/8" if I were you...too big won't hurt...too small just might!

    (But the vast majority of us can run 5/16" with no worries...that's what I'm using!)

    I always use 3/8ths for my street cars. It's a bitch to bend but it flows enough for 350-375 hp. I also like to use frame-mounted spin on fuel filters...the big napa ones.
