I can't help but think that this is to close to the intake. There's about a 1/2" between the line and the intake, it also snakes close to the dizzy. It doesn't look like it's touching anything or kinked...Will this be an issue?
There are MANY...different fuel lines available ! Look into Jegs or Summit Racing, sit back, study and have some coffee As noted, you can run the rubber line...anywhere...that you want it. Let your imagination be your guide. NOTE - it's best to keep the rubber length to a minimum. Buy hard line (3/8" brake like), and bend it to your heart's content. Benders are cheap (some). Mike
If you run a Ford with the fuel outlets on the right side and fuel pump on the left side there is no other way route it. Both mine are like yours and never a problem.
Could you bend a slight dogleg in that last inch and a half going into the carb fitting? That would raise the big, clunky fitting higher off the intake. ?...... Why is the big, clunky fitting on there anyway?? I like Mike's suggestion to start over with a hunk of hardline and bend it how you like it.
