I need to replace my fuel sender. I believe it is 10 ohms full and 90 ohms empty. I haven't seen any on ebay or any of the old mopar sites I've found. Is there a source or a sender I can adapt to work?
Yeh checked there, no luck. Edit: I finally found some good help on p15d24 forums $85 replacements: http://a****erkentmfg.com/Fuel Senders.htm#21 http://www.collectorsautosupply.com/search.asp http://www.robertsmotorparts.com/car_parts.asp?Action=search&c=Cars+-+Electrical+&+Related+Parts Instructions on adapting $23 JC Whitney gauge http://www.ply33.com/Repair/fuelsender.html JC WHITNEY PART: http://www.jcwhitney.com/adjustable-fuel-level-float/p2005714.jcwx?skuId=162409&_requestid=333377
Andy Bernbaum Auto Parts has one in their catalog for $80. 800-457-1250. I've bought from them before, their good people.
Sweet, this is what I need for the gas tank in my 1955 Dodge Royal as well. I didn't think anyone made a replacement. Glad this was posted, very helpful.
