Hey guys. Anyone with a 52-54 replaced their fuel level sending unit in the tank lately? My gauge reads either full or empty, no in between. The nice part is, when it reads empty all I have to do is go around the corner and I have a full tank of gas again. Yay! So much cheaper than going to the gas station and spending $3.50 a gallon. Anyway, I was curious if any of em were better than the others, which ones to avoid, tips & tricks, etc. I'm still running the 6V system, so any help would be great! Thanks in advance guys!

Be sure to check the float, they have been known to rot away, and is the car converted to 12 volt? If it's still 6 volt most of the retailers (Concourse,Macs) cary them. Gerry

Thanks guys. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, the car is still 6V. Guess I will look around and see what I can find. Just didn't know if anyone had better luck with one brand/supplier vs another...
