looking to swap fuel tank inside the trunk,I know a mustang tank will work but what year and what size I
am thinking probably a 16 gal ?and also how do you get it to vent?any help will be appreciated you see I've had the car for 19 years and it sits in my garage but before I put her away I had some custome work done tor her such as top chop custom taillights ,French headlights ,mustang clip now looking to smooth out body and that I have time to work on her I want to do some work on her my self............Thanks again

  2. I picked up a 73-79 Ford pickup on special from Tanks, Inc. and built mounts to put it in place. I centered it in the chassis since I took the spare well out and wanted to run 2 1/2 tailpipes out the back. It vents similar to the stocker, a hose up to near the top of the filler neck. A brand new tank for less than $100 - works for me.
