Here's a few pictures of a 30 roadster pickup that we just finished here at Clayton's Hot Rods. We used a 30 cab on a 32 frame and all the other sheet was from a 32. I think it worked out pretty good. Has anybody else seen this combo before?

I'd sure like to see larger pictures but from what I CAN see you did an exceptional job of it. Thanks for sharing this one.

Thank you for the compliments and the photo help.

  11. Well I started to say it was a shame that you covered the deuce rails, but I do like the combo. I haven't seen it before that i know of but I'll bet that I'll be seeing a lot more of it soon. Smooth as silk.

They're only covered by the fenders; no different than any full fendered '32 would be. No splash aprons like it'd have with a Model A frame and fenders.

  18. I like your truck. The only thing wrong with the original '32 RDPU is that the body looks too commercial and you have solved that.

That looks great. I had wondered about making a Brookville '32RPU fit my truck instead of the closed cab, but that is spot on. Did you have to section the radiator and grille? I understand a Model A cowl is a couple of inches shorter than on a '32?

On a 30-31 you can get away without sectioning the grille shell the hood however did get sectioned

Very nice! Looks good with the fenders on.

  30. Very nice - surprised that this combination isn't seen more often as it really works well.
