That's a Dodge actually, but it's bitchin' all the same!!! A bit bigger than a "T" too. I happen to know where there is one sitting if you are up for the workout of your life getting it out!!!

Nice to see some history on these cars.

  3. Wasn't sure if it was due to the seat back curve and the windshield posts. Flipped a quarter, came up heads, posted it anyway.

Hey, if it has doors maybe it's an option!!!

(Gotta get the coupe running and sold to finance a new project... :( )

Does a C cab count? It does have a T rad shell and replica T guards, albeit very modified:

This touring T is alive and well, I know the current owner very well. The car is stored in Starbirds museum right now, and still has the original candy apple red paint and white pinstripes, double white wall uniroyal tires. Its one of the first customs that Starbird built when he got started in Wichita, ks. Not a thing has been changed. scan0021.jpg

Here is a pic of the car I took back in early 2000's. The current owner is setting in the chair with a white T shirt on. The candy paint is fading, but is still original per Scan0001.jpg Starbirds application.

Nothing better to do on a rainy day but look at cool old car pictures, great seeing all the old 60-70 and 80's cars that still push my buttons today.........

  15. Heading up to the KCMO area to pick this one up this weekend for my Dad. New Posies spring should bring the front down to a more acceptable level, along with some bigs and littles.

The Old Man and the T

12573816_10207571199905835_5158701854811867269_n.jpg Unloaded at the shop. We've been putting an automatic in Dad's 34, which required a rebuild of the floorboard. Finishing that project up before we tear into the T to fix some suspension issues, swap the wheels and those big honkin' 225/60/15 front meats for some more appropriate 165/80/15's, and ditching the chrome Rallye wheels for some more appropriate Ford style 15's and caps. I'm pushing for an Almond color for the new wheels.

The T runs like crap! I am believing that it is timing and carb tuning issues.

One of the cars that sort of started this thread, Seldon Bardin's '27 sedan surfaced here in Phoenix recently, in the general care of my buddy GreggAZ. Parked with MIKE's '27 sedan too. mikes and sheldons ts.jpg

I have some cool shots of this same car from a late '70s magazine called "Rod Power" or some such. I'll have to dig them up and scan them.

Not sure if this one has ended up over here at some point or another, but it should. 13015138_10206428143407381_2676784323283865995_n.jpg

And this one, too. This and the last one are on a Model "A" wheel base and stretch the hood about 3". Great for leg room in a "T". 1497735_1003711059656933_4747789029395547480_n.jpg
