Moon makes a nice remote canister with a spin on hidden inside. Ribbed and polished for your pleasure.

We haven't installed ours yet but we're running it on the firewall with solid, chromed lined from the top fittings down the wall to level with the fittings in the back of the block. Having plain Jane hoses made up with SS ends at a hydraulic place to go from the hard lines to the block. Easy peasy and should look pretty trad too.

I like that idea, mounting it on the firewall and just have short flexible hoses to the engine down low and out of sight. I was going to mount it on a head like it is currently but I have a set of finned offy heads to show off!

You keep it to yourself for now Daddio. Trying to figure out this sort of stuff is half the fun of it!

I'm still mulling this over...... what do people think about plumbing in an oil cooler? Since we are already running oil lines outside the block and these motors are known to get a little warm, an oil cooler probably wouldn't be such a bad idea.

I heard too many horror stories re; the MCF full oil setup.....So I went with the stock setup; It's a partial flow, to be sure,...but eventually all the oil does run thru the filter. Just my 2 cents......
