Mine isn't but a wife with her own hobbies and activities is the greatest thing a retired guy who is working out in the garage can have. She disappears into her craft room you disappear into yours.
An all around even if it is rather loose schedule helps get things done a lot though. Mow the lawn and do yard stuff the same day every week. As mentioned before have a day to do the honey do list or if it isn't long plan for a couple of hours a day a few times a week to knock those things out.

It doesn't matter if you are 25 or 65 building hot rods for fun for you self isn't fun if it becomes work rather than fun. Also plan out what you are going to do that day or those hours so you can get something done rather than look for stuff or have to make a parts run. If you are going to do the brakes tomorrow, make sure that everything is there to do the brakes today before you go in for the night. Dig out that box of brake shoes that you got from Rock auto 18 months ago and have them on the bench, dig out those wheel cylinders that you ordered three months ago and have them there, lay the tools out, Make sure you have the right brake fluid there. I finally figured out that I have had some degree of A.D.D. all my life and it helps me a hell of a lot if I have everything ready to go so I don't have to stop and look for something or make a trip to the parts house.

Congrats on your retirement! Enjoy it, you have earned it. Been considering it myself. Just don't quite have my head wrapped around it yet I guess.
