Fulton Visor Steel vs Aluminum

Im going to buy a repo Fulton Visor and see there are two options, steel or aluminum. Any one have any expierence or know the pros and cons of each...thanks

 

are the originals all aluminum? I say if you gotta fab anything or change n e thing to go with steel.. but i wud assume that aluminum is harder to weld a bracket to and so on..

 

Polish the aluminum or paint the steel. Polish.

 

why buy a repo when there are plenty of good real ones still out there?
