Customs Fun in the '53

We've been driving the heck out of the '53 since we got her going in May so I figured I'd update everyone.
Lots of cruise ins and car shows and the kiddo is loving it.



We have also been cruising her to the lake and to get ice cream. The veiw is never bad.





Also my wife's good friend was down to visit and I was able to share a bench seat with 2 good looking women... A rare occasion for a married man



I have already began my list of things to take care of over the winter and get her ready for it all over again next year. This summer isn't over yet but I'm already buying parts for when we hole up over the winter.

LaSalle county, about 1.5 hours from Chicago.

Sure does and the overdrive transmission. I have a "build thread" here and some YouTube videos.

 

Sure do, Amboy is like 15 minutes away. We drive the car there for Ice cream often.

 

Cool 53. Plus, you still have the flathead. Amboy's a nice show. I'm only about 1/2 hour away. Unfortunately, I didn't win the 50/50. LOL!
