65 impala.........check the invoice. I suspect you not only got nicked for GST and PST but you also had to pay an outrageous brokerage charge for shipment. Clearly not Hampton's fault. I've had to pay $80 GST/PST/Brokerage on a $50 part I ordered from the US.
I'm sorry have you ever tried using us? At***ude that comes from being an old Drag racer who doesn't talk out of both sides of his mouth. If you come off with an at***ude he will put it back in your face. Now if you need help with no at***ude he will jump through hoops to try and help you.
Actually the comment was not aimed at anyone in particular - I think you may have jumped to conclusions. Perhaps you should go back and read exactly what I wrote in my earlier posts. It was a general observation about people who want your money but think it is okay to jerk you around and/or invite you to become part of their family while they blame shift everybody and everything, but it is never their fault. They are the victim and the paying customer who just wants what he ordered to be well done and in a timely manner, as promised, is treated as the jerk - I have plenty of experience with that. Every business has bad customers and there are two sides to every story, so you are absolutely en***led to tell yours. But if I am told something by a supplier then I expect it to be so. I will always give a little leeway and make certain allowances. But I do not want to make a career out of forcing people to do what they promised. Be straight with me and I'll be a great customer. Screw me around and it is a very different story - dead easy and you know where you stand. I am sorry if you chose to think it was aimed at you - it wasn't.

As I stated earlier in this thread too ,sorry you had a bad expierence with them BUT Don was way cool with me and actually gave me a guys name who had an intake that I had been looking for for along time.Then gave me some good advice on the drive set up and offered more ***istance if I needed it and I didnt buy a thing from him on. He is a stand up guy.
Really dude 2 years he must of been jerking you around...does not 2 years to make a blower I don't care how nice it is.
All I know is I'm from the east coast buying my first blower! Every racer I talked to said Don Hampton is the only choice if you want top quality and the best blower on the market! I spoke with Don ordered my stuff and couldn't be happier!
