Here's my 5 year-old grandson at a recent car show in Cleveland behind the wheel of "Sophie", my 55 Country Sedan. (No, the pipe was not loaded, and, no, the car wasn't moving.)
Very cool! Before long, your grandson may look like this if you keep it up. My son just bought himself a 59 Edsel to drive daily.
I don't know this young man, but I suspect he likes the color blue as well as the Ford he is inspecting!
Yes, definitely! But I'll have to get a seat in it first... In the meantime, my own future Ford fanatic sure enjoys it when someone extends that invitation to him! Hats off to all who offer those opportunities!
When I go to shows I encourage people-especially kids-to sit in my Model A. That is if they ask nicely. If you ask for a ride I will give you one as most people have never ridden or get the chance to ride in an antique car. When I go to the Gatsby picnic put on by the ADSC in Sept. I taxi people from the front gate to the picnic area. Partly because I get in free but also so I can show off my car ang give people the chance to feel what it is like to ride in the car. Mike
