Just wanted to let you guys know that there will be no First Friday cruise in Gadsden in January or February. Look forward to seeing it big in March..
I will make it to several of these this coming season! (I'll have to trailer to the outskirts of town)
Awesome pics! Loved the tractors on page 4. I was brought here from your thread on the 67 72 trucks forum.
Another great cruise-in yesterday.I hope someone took more pix for us.Lots of good music and good food.I had my '30 Tudor there and her lights worked good enough to get me home!
OK its that time again this Friday the 7 th.. Lots of HAMB friendly cars and some other things that we don't post on this board.. But a very good show..
I decided not to attend because of the high threat of rain .. Plus it was raining at my place.. So did any HAMB ers attend??????????? Thank You.... Bobby....
don, quite a few were going down from up here. but with the weather like it is, I guess we will play it by ear...or water. ain't looking real good. maybe it will clear..............maybe
This is tonight guys! I think it's also the first one this season where the weather forecast is going to cooperate with us! I'm going, and taking my camera! Hope to see some of you guys out there.
Aceuh,I couldn't make it for August (family matters) but looking forward to Sept. Always enjoy your pix and am wondering where they are for Aug. Hope to see you too.
Tried to trade my covertible for this 59... couldn't get together on it though... Anyway... photobucket is all jacked up... here's a link if you wanna try to check em out... http://s272.photobucket.com/user/se...&page=1&_suid=1378433105422026064215614124963
Visited this for the first time last night. Awesome weather and a ton of cars and people. Real variety of vehicles. Recommended event if you're ever in the area.
Finally made it Gadsden. K9 from this forum came up to say hello to me. Great night. Maybe the best event I've been to?
Does it go year round? Are the crowds always like that? I'd think about coming up from Tallah***ee for it when it is cooler. I got the radiator for my '56 Ford in Gadsden, special made. Nice place....
My cousin helped start this and when she told me about it she said it is supposed to go year round weather permitting. This year they didn't have it in January or February so its best to check first. Its usually posted on the hamb every month. This month wasn't as big as I have seen in the past. Don't know why but it was still big enough and fun. I took my camera but only took a photo of one car. I fell in love with this Olds. I think its perfect.
No registration so it is hard to tell.. I saw tags from 7 different states on cars that were on display.. This is great show lots of HAMB friendly cars and a few that are not but they include every one................................. The only bad part is some of the specators do not respect cars. Pedal bikes, dogs {the 4 leg type} and un ruley children. ............................ The local police force was in full view.. Several Good bands playing on the side walks and lots of food vendors. Plenty of portable relief stations..................................... The local rescue squad gave away bottled water.... All in all about the best I have ever attended.................. The reason for the car count down was High School football. This hurt the O T cars but not HAMB friendly cars.. ................. I enjoyed talking to All American 6 and his large amount of friends.. Bobby............
