    hey guys,

quick update before i run to dinner.

traced the funky wire as far as i could until it went into a black tube/tape loom thing never to reapear....at least were i can see or even in the same color so seeing as only half of what i had in my hand w*** fried i cut it and spliced the new line in. put new ends on the wires and put it back together.

ran around the car tightening things and went to put the switch back in the dash--hasnt wanted to go back in for at least two weeks

it poped right in! so i took it as a sign and cranked it over.

i heard a funky gargly/zappy noise coming from what seemd to be my radio in the dash for about a second and then it was fine.

took it for about a mile cruise around the block and parked it.

im lacking some tourqe, you can feel it driving it around and hear it when you rev it but not alot. just enough to go "hmm lost some guts somewere"
hellraiser and i will get the dwell and everything sceinced out in the a.m. and i should be good to go

quick question though, ive gota guy that wants me to stripe his car tonight at a cruise in show about4 1/2 miles across town. its all moderate traffic cruising over there and back. nothing over 40 mph. this is the only car ive got to get there.

will it be fine to putt on over there or do i not risk it and stay home?

    tim

side note: tuck if i can find an internship up in your neck of the woods im realy looking at coming up for about 5 weeks next summer. need to find an upholsterer that wants some free labor first though
