Wow nice collection of picks... I would post pics of mine but I cannot find any.... Plus the thread title says done right and mine is uglier than sin
The car was T boned before I got it and was fixed at Pleasant Valley State correctional Facility where they replaced the Passenger Quarter panel with a quarter panel that was in my eyes not much better. I drove the car as my only transportation for 3 years or so knowing of the bondo but one spring I noticed that the Quarter was cracking so i picked it and 3/4 of inch fell off!! I proceed to wire wheel the whole Quarter and fix the rusted out rain gutters and needless to say that was 6 years ago and I have never primered the roof or Quarter and it is pretty rusty!!!! I kind of neglect the car a lot but I do love her to death!!
Picked this one up today for dirt cheap.....500 xl..40000 original miles, has the 390 thunderbird motor, and 4 speed automatic.....put the key in turned it and cruised for hours......nothing to do but change the oil.....
Just hoping this thread doesn't die. My first car (that ran, ha) was a 61 fordor. Had a soft spot ever'since. Any more?
George Poteet had(s?) identical '61 Sunliner and Starliner. They were both at the 2010 GNRS. The attached pic is the Sunliner at a random event. Sent from my DROID device using the TJJ mobile app
Ill be there in my 64. Im so stoked. Every year Ive tried to drive my Fairlane out and it always broke down on the way, but now I got me a Galaxie with a new motor and new trans. Oh yea!!!!!
