I want to see what a chopped 39 looks like with fenders. I think Dan Collins Pick-up is chopped with fenders, right?

Nice.... youll have to bring it to our little BBQ when its all done.

We were checkin out Gambinos shop the other day when we went to a Sharks game. Nice guy, took time to show us a few projects and gave us a tour. That Zephyr is badass.... those floor panels were very well thought out.

Your truck should turn out pretty nice. From the pictures it looks like its turning out nice.

Great to have an illustration of what the finished product will look like. Blasting the sheetmetal before the chop is the way to go. This will be a great project to follow.

Looks like they are doing a great job on it. I like the concept of the truck too. But most of all I like seeing how Alex is doing the chop and I can use a few of his methods to make my own body modifications work better this time.

That is going to be one good looking truck when it is done.

Glad to see this getting built. I had dreams of building the rendered version, but Alex will make it about a thousand times better, and the Nailhead will be awesome. Will be following this closely.

Wow, excellent work. Reminds me of when I got a metal grinding chip in my eye and doctor "picked" it out. I was wearing safety glasses, but wished I had worn a full face shield.

Having done a fair bit of this sort of thing myself, it's so that you can put filler panels in areas of high crown. And by zig zagging to different planes in the process, you don't invent a new profile, but work with what's there.

Ohhhh, and excellent work Alex. Now, let's talk about faceshields (with safety glasses below and maybe even hearing protection) shall we??

Gotta agree with Tinman, excellent craftsman, I'm a fan for sure, but would feel pretty bad for Mr. Gambino if one of those carbide discs exploded into his jugular. At least put a guard on the grinder.

Yeah, I'm a Gambino fan too... First class work all the way.
But I gotta agree with the comments above. MR. G., you're way too valuable to lose... safety my man, safety!
