YES, exactly right! I didn't think anyone would "get" that one. Used to be a black Lowrider back in the day. "Young, Lifted, and Black" was on his window. I HATE hearing hydros. It's like scratching a chalkboard to my ears

As a Lowrider in the early 70's, it was lifted or juiced. I can't wrap my head around the "H" word. Especially coming from another true old schooler as you Alex. You truly are a man that can walk the walk. Now, can you say lifted or juiced for me? LOL

 

were building a 60's traditional custom car and lifting this car will make it that much more bad ass and closer to its 60's roots and beside folks say air bags are gay and daves already gay enuff

Scoob the big reason I like Hydraulics is that the car still has springs If set up right and you run long springs that aren't 2 ton truck springs that are shortened the ride is killer. To make it simple its like this-springs have a continuous spring rate and act like the same though the suspension travel regardless of the position of the cylinder or ride height. While air bags when low have low pressure which equals a soft spring rate when pumped up or lifted the rate increases stiffening the cars suspension. Its more complicated than that but thats it in a nut shell.

Ya I put the four door jamb on the two door door so it has a curved back edge(four door) two door is straight and mates up to the post that is getting moved back. That way gaskets and all work. Alex are the rockers done yet?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

1st: Dave: is all that aircraft equip. yours? amazing collection man, couldnt think of a better platform to use it either.

So, are you guys plannin on making this a 2dor or youre shortening the rear doors? it would be kool to keep the rear doors shorter and suicide'em, but hell, just a silly idea i rekon.

as for the rockers im dieing here waitin to see whats gonna come out, its the part of this build that intrests me the most.

I am digging this project alot. Not alotta people "dare" to build something kool out of a 4-door. Way to go!!

 

1.That aircraft stuff is mine its not going on this car though I have another set of pumps ect that are not pictured that will be used.

2. The car wont be a 2 door as (I have a good one for parts that should go to someone else and be built Ill let it go cheap) and were not shortening the rear doors either. As Alex said the lambo doors are gunna look killer "On this pimp ass biotch!" All I can say the plan is weird not saying more yet

3. Rockers are on and car is further along than the last pics some day we might get an update ????????????

lol...."Ralph"...that dude let me borrow a tape measure there and it fuckin' exploded on me. never seen anything like it. I was terrified that i'd have my "wander the yard" rights revoked when i brought that back. they've always treated me fairly there, decent prices, but it may be that i was buying shit he wasn't coveting. They got some good stuff, if you look closely. just make sure and get out of the area by nighttime...things get dark around there if you know what i mean lol
