Then why did you put a Canadian price on the front of the mag? By the way, it's spelled Canada not Canadia...
Really? That's weird?.... But seriously.... I think we should invade and take over Canadia. Call it "North Mexico"
all the letters were thrown into a hat. The Queen started to pull letters out to name their new country. C, eh. N, eh. D, eh. Maybe shoulda been spelled with a K, lol.
Bahaha That would probably be the best way to make america not look so fucked right now, or canada worse..
The all new garage rocks! They are all top notch people down there and down to make it better and better. Check out the Corey Miller interview , I had the opertunity of shooting it for them , Turned out the shit ...
As an impressionable 21 year old who thinks that with patiance and practice I can learn to do anything , I love seeing clips of people making stuff . Everytime I see someone welding up something or beating out some sheet metal or using a power hammer and a english wheel it just makes me want to build my own english wheel and my own power hammer and get some scrap sheet and just practice . What Tig do you use and what amp range?
It's posts like this that make me realize that the future will be just fine. I was that same 21y.o. kid as you are. Dreaming of making stuff and hauling ass with it. Don't be afraid to work hard and bust ass to get what you want. My welders are a Miller Aerowave & ESAB...Heat range? I set it by the book for whatever I'm welding. The guys that design welders and write the manuals are way smarter than me and know what will work best.
Looks like your breathing fast in the video. Almost like you were about to hyperventilate. Excited were you?
Thats awesome Jesse! Man your definitely an inspiration and someone that Apprentices such as myself and MooseMan can look up to! Thanks alot for taking your time out to give us pointers and hope that someday with practice and watching the right people, we can build our own dreams! Shelby
I believe what Mr. James was trying to say was Don't be afraid to work hard........ I have the same problem, old fart trying to fuck with computers.
I know that this has probably been said a million times before on this thread, but..... I just received my first subscription issue of Garage #19 in the mail today. Could hardly believe my eyes! I think my wife sent in a subscription for a birthday present for me almost a year and a half ago, maybe even two! Awesome surprise. It feels good to know that the people at the mag are taking into consideration all the lost and shuffled subscribers that were probably like me, waited and waited and then finally gave up. I still ended up buying it on the magazine rack when I could catch it. To top it all off, this issue kicks ass. Stompin' Stu still owns the track! Big Mahalo to Garage!
I could be wrong but it might be breathing exercises to hopefully get more oxygen in the body before the g-force starts hitting him. Similar to what fighter pilots do before pulling a big g-force manuver. I took some serious g's racing carts abck in the day...I can only imagine that beast.
Thanks for posting this, adding to what others have said, you've definitely inspired a lot of us younger guys to get in the shop and get busy. I'd like to think I've learned a lot for being 19yrs old, but I'm still very green with some things. When I first saw monster garage I was in 7th grade and that summer I learned how to stick weld and welded in the floor pans to my O/T '64 beetle. Anyways...back on topic.
Excellent Story On GT - Way cool ink on the Summers Bros Liner - & Jelena Is Smokin. Bought one off the rack Nice Job Homes.
Truer words never spoken. I just spent a couple days with Gene (Winfield) the guy is older than dirt, but has twice the energy that I do! He's still working after everyone else has passed out! He says he still learns something new every week. How cool is that! Maybe there is still hope for me....................
Cool video thanks for posting that . Just using you as an example I notice you use different size power hammers (yoders) for different things is there a specific reason for that , is there a size that generally does most things ?
Thanks for the bump. I'm still hoping someone will post up some info on the Rabers/Mullins streamliner story that ended with part 4, 2 issues ago. Thanks.
