Damn.... This thread just gives me way too many ideas, especially with a grandson who is about to turn two.

My daughter made this when she was 7 years old. (My avatar is a photo of her building it) I cut out the little figures and she welded them on...I described to her what she would see as soon as she pulled the trigger and she welded the **** out of it......it shows kind of a base jumping theme. That round , domed deal is a worn out plow disc.

the headlights are original model A buckets. but i had to improvise on the rest. inside they are stainless steel dog dishes, with a ring of neon inside. the lenses are plexigl*** with silver 1/8" pinstriping to replicate the original gl*** "gridwork",,, finally trimmed out with chrome jewelite.(used in the sign industry)

thanks for all the kind words guys!

Thanks for all the photos, much appreciated. Will come in handy when the time comes. I do have to come up with a way to securely anchor it to the wall as I'm not going to drill holes into my brand new hardwood floor. Plaster can be repaired a whole lot easier then wood. :D

Sure wouldn't want to crash it with that bar above your shins. Probably a good thing it's in the garage. Looks like fun though....

Ideas I've been capturing off the internet and saving.

This is one of my favorites and will happen as soon as my new kitchen is done

I host an occasional Art Bash out in my shop with some buddies, beer, and miscellaneous parts. I built this outta some Chevy 292 rods and pistons, a couple of random gears, and a cutout from my Offy aluminum intake manifold. Now above the mantle of my fireplace.
