I have been thinking about setting the motor up for a burnout. This not only involves the motor and car , but also drivers training with getting use to 1200 lbs with 1500 hp. The 2 disc Hays slider clutch has about 1 1/2'' of travel at the pedal, so foot movement with the gas and clutch for the driver, me, is crucial. 1250 of static pressure and 90 grams of counter weight on the fingers. The fuel system with the Hilborn barrel valve is set up for just cackling now at 83%, and I will fatten the barrel valve till I see some nitro mist out of the zoomies. I am going to add the port nozzles set at 10 psi to open. Mike Kuhl told me what Port Nozzles sizes to use to get me going. I'll be using Autolite 52R plugs which are 3 heat ranges colder than my cackle plugs.

No vent on the tank? A good pump will suck the sides in, not to mention what'll happen to the engine.

There is one hidden under the fill cap. Tube goes down insided tank and vents out the front. No worries.

The late 2011 summer tour is almost over. Monterey, Ca., Medford, Oregon, Sonoma, Ca. and next weekend Lodi, Ca. for the Kingdon Drag Reunion. 4 weekends in a row. 24 qts of 70wt Kendall Nitro Oil, 24 spark plugs, 15 gallons of Nitro, 4 gallons of Methanol and 136 gallons of diesel to get there so far.
Julie made me promise that I would never stop cackling our Fueler and to bring the History of Drag Racing to all motor sports fans. "Yes Dear" !

This was the only picture that was in the limited edition of the program at the Laguna Seca Historic Auto Races for the Kingdon Drag Display. COOL ! Kelly Brown at 224 mph at San Fernando in Jim Brissette's Fueler aka my cackle car.
