Has anyone else noticed that the Garage Magazine website (www.garagemagazine.com) now goes to the West Coast Choppers website? Anyone know what is going on?
...just not looking forward to walmart bastardizing that mag. no offense but once WCC merch hit their floor i got sick of seeing every buger-hog and front butt of America wearing the shirts, hats, key chains, coffee mugs, underware etc etc. ...i doubt the same thing will happen, but i've been wrong before. ...and like i said, don't take offense to this, just had to get it off my chest.
why did wal mart quit selling it?? (or does my local one just suck...) cant find it at 7-11 either...! it's been a few months. is the website down, or the whole mag?
If you had the opportunity at the time to make that deal...YOU WOULD..Garage Mag was going down the toilet and he saved it. And it has gotten better. Just becuase WCC merchandise has been spread all over Dont take what the man has done in POSITIVE ways down. I remeber in the 70s that I could by Richard Petty STP stuff anywahere. You fellas should know by now that I am not one to be influenced by politics of any kind. That said, I can confidently say that Garage Magazine has done nothing but get better with every issue. It's not a car magazine, so don't go in with those expectations... It's kind of like a Maxim for scumbags... I really enjoy it.
Hey Josh Check the local grocery stores. Mine sell them here. I dont know if you get the new WCC mag in it unless you have a subsription. Let me know I can always get you one and send it out.
......So basically what you are saying is that all the people that live in states where Wal*Mart is the Only store in in there city or town can't be as "cool" as you?..... ...Or maybe you think that you discovered West Coast Choppers?....Or Garage Magazine?.....If so maybe we should publish a list of "Founders" and put your name at the top so everyone knows you were "Cool" first.... ...Let me know.......

Garage is by far my favorite mag on the shelf (or not on the shelf). i'm glad jesse is behind it. but seriously, once everyone started wearing so much wcc merch, it kinda make me lose interest. but anything that gains too much popularity makes me squirm. please don't read into this further than need be. -marty

Wal-mart gets half my paycheck, so I am not bitching, used to cuss them, but they have everything I need, and prices are better than the parts stores on oils-etc
So.. there is no drama here... just words misinterpreted by the internet... nothing to see here... move along... BTW, I would like to mention that Garage Magazine has the best logo of any magazine on the planet... The guy that did it must be a fucking genius... no more to report.

.....Well here it is......After spending "Several" Hundred Thousand dollors in Lawyer Fee's battling Bootleggers and Counterfiters and Listening to everyone tell me "You should open a chain of High-End Retail clothing stores and sell $100 T-Shirts" (alla:VonDutch).....I took a long look at myself and Realised that everything I wear and (except Wino's) I can get at Wal*Mart. So I made the choice to sell there. I don't double dip!....I dont sell to other Mass retailers and truckstops and everywhere else....I just sell to Wal*Mart.....thats it!........If people want to pay way more and get stuff at a different store to validate there "cool-ness" ?? then they are just fuckin' Stupid!....... I only wish Wal*Mart would sell band saw blades and Roll-Loc sanding disc's! As far as the shop Merch being different? I will always have Special gear that you can get only online and stuff you can only get at the shop!..... cool?
I can't wait for the new issue. I'm small potatoes in the big picture,but wanted to do some national advertising. My first ad? In the next issue of Garage magazine ! So y'all go to Wallymart and buy a copy .

...sure. as long as you put me at number 2 on the list. i want YOU to be number 1 ...yeah, kmart used to be the place to buy wino's but walmart shut them down. so off i go to walmart . and while i'm there, i'll continue to buy the coolest mag out!
