So this followed me home over the weekend. I know its a 31 because it has the indented firewall. the roof is missing so a coupster it is. Was it a standard coupe, sport coupe or cabriolet?? Its an old hot rod, boxed frame and channeled. pretty rough work done to it.
when you get it home, flip the cowl upright and take some more pictures, so we can see what you have. Posting pictures like that just makes it confusing.
It was some kind of independent suspension rear end. Don't know what it came out of. I didn't even notice the mini bike. Maybe I should go back and see if it is still there.
There are some coupe body parts on Marketplace in American Fork: https://www.facebook.com/share/1JcHZembL5/ Might be worth reaching out and haggling. Good luck with the build from Holladay.
I saw these, Not sure the route I'm going with this yet, one of those buy's I couldn't pass up. It would take a lot of haggling, pretty optimistic asking price.
Good score, if you want to give a roadster look, check out my folding windshield posts here on the HAMB in "Parts for sale"
I'll be visiting my son and family in Spanish Fork in December. Those kind of garage sales till going on in winter? Don't usually see that around here.
Probably won't be any garage sales in the winter but the Spanish Fork area has a lot of old iron still kicking around.
Good score! I've never run across that kind of good stuff at the few garage sales I get to! That independent rear end is from a 90's Cougar.
it actually caused me physical pain to not bring that up. Garage Sell ... like fingernails on a chalkboard.
yeah, it is really odd that these days people think that the words sell and sale are interchangeable, when sale is typically a noun and sell is typically a verb... drives me nuts
