Wow, i have one exactly like it i picked up at a swap meet for 50 bucks...not quite as nice though. Good score!
And then a few days later I found this one hiding in the back of this sedan delivery. Never rains but pours....
Yes It had to have been stored in someone' basement. Wrong steering wheel and some parts missing but an easy fix. PM me if you have any spare parts.
Wow,what a find! One time I was dumping some scrap metal @ the local recycler and the guy ahead of me in line tossed a silver pedal car or something off of the back of his truck. I said to myself "I'm totally grabbing that". i finally get up there and it's a piece of***** 80's mercedes benz pedal car. Huge disappointment.....
why the hell would anyone put that in the dump? Even an idiot would realize it is worth a few bucks and probably pretty easy to unload.
Cool Find George... the Delivery is a Cool piece.. did you get it?? whats with the Monaco beside the delivery?
Those cars are near Moose Jaw (yes that's a place) Saskathewan. The guy had a pile of stuff. Late 40's chevs to mid fifties chev, husdsons buicks etc. A lot of 4 doors. I did never checked out the Monaco convertible Call Bruce at 306-584-2883, 306-542-8400, Here is his Kijiji link: http://regina.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-Other-Antique-Cars-W0QQAdIdZ136742401
I picked a Murray plane out of the dump once. Blue Diamond Classics has pedal car reproduction parts. Blue Diamond
Gotta love the******s that throw stuff out for "us" to find! I scored this '71 Sting Ray at the Recycling Company I worked at earlier this year. It's all original, all I did was give it a good cleaning!
I grew up a mile from the dump, my best friends dad owned it. I wish I knew then what I know now , I would have a hanger full of collectable stuff people threw away if I did
