Hi Guys, I've been reading this forum for a while now so here's a bit about me. I'm 58 years old and waste my time at school doodling about T Buckets instead of listining to the teacher. I built the TBucket when I was 20 with a 283 Genuine Covette Motor, T10 4 speed, F100 9" Diff, the body was one of the first built in Australia and came from the project rod built by the now defunct Australian Hot Rod Review Magazine when I bought it it was painted in Copper/ Brown Metalflake with Black trim but the bonus was it also came with the 23 T windscreen complete. I drove this rod every where if there was a hot rod run on I was there. Later improvement where, Mk10 Jaguar Diff, Cream paint, Burgundy Trim, and yes it still has the motor & box that was first fitted back in 1970 even though it was rebuilt with 11-1 pistons +60 and balanced, I had the work done by a race boat builder and he even offered to run it in for me in the under 300ci Cl*** in the local bridge to bridge boat race that weekend but I declined, the rod is still registered and used often but these days I dont fit to well. Other projects are: 1936 Ford Ute with 350/T10/8" diff I use this daily as my work truck for my sign buisness and has loged up 120,000 miles since built in 1991 now on its 3rd motor. Painted in Aquamarine acrylic paint. 1935 Ford Tudor with 350/350/8" I built this to cater for the wedding market and has over 40,000 miles on it this car was built from a fordor sedan body as we did'nt get Tudors here in Australia and yes it was a bit of a job as its also chopped 4". Painted Bistro Orange with cream trim. I am married to my darling wife Lyn and have 3 grandsons Jayson, Blake and Byron. I could go on for a bit but I wll save some for later. Regards Garry
