For some reason I got the impression the OP is not from Canada or the US, probably lives in Europe, and is getting set to visit Canada for the first time. By flying into Edmonton and driving a 57 year old Chev across the Rocky Mountains lol.

When they ask open ended questions and don't give you any information to go on you just have to guess everything and try to give a sensible answer.

Rusty, took me awhile to find it, but I believe the O.P. car is the one that PKap -from Alberta posted about on the thread "When Three Was On The Tree". Of course this is an ***umption and we know what they are good for.

At al***ude you get better performance and milage if you advance timing.
About 1/2 degree for every 1000 miles in al***ude gain from sea level.

I live and drive at 4000 ft and I set my timing about 2 degrees higher than when I take a trip down to sea level.

Easy to adjust on the 235 by loosening the vacuum advance/distributor clamp bolt and rotating the distributor.
Clockwise retard spark - Counter-clockwise advance spark

Bring a timing light and adjust in no time while refueling or taking a break.
