I am still working on my 51 Two Door Sedan. I have got the motor in .. a 56 235 hooked up to a saginaw 4- speed.. It is running good.. but I am having trouble getting the gas pedal and linkage sorted out. I have made a simple rod that connects the pedal with the linkage that is on the motor.. but the pedal travel and swing of the linkage seem to work against each other and the throttle linkage is not very smooth.. Can anyone offer some ideas?.. I have looked at some Locar pedals with cables .. but they seem to be set up to pull.. I need the pedal to push. Thanks Hodad [IMG] [IMG]

There sould be a bell crank on the side of the engine block that switches the direction...push the pedal then it pulls the carb linkage down.
