Nice! I hope to have one one day. Sawzall...I forgot to mention, I think the woodie pedal is very cool!
Here are some pedals I just got at the LA Roadsters Fathers day swap meet..... First is this home made one. I have no idea what kind of race car it was in, old sprint car maybe?.... Another hand made one, I would say this was in a dragster. Nicely made and the toe hoop pivots.... This is a Tiffany pedal. I got it from Sledge.... This one is a steel pedal and was probably used on a sewing machine. It is spring loaded and about half the size of a Moon pedal. For $15 I figured I would add it to the collection..... And this was sitting next to it, also steel, for $5 so I figured what the hell.....
A couple more pedals that were given to me. I was told the steel one was from a sewing machine. I saw it hanging on the wall in a barn/workshop, the guy donated it to the collection. The home made aluminum one was a gift from one of my favorite people, Royalshifter.
I have one of those speed products full size pedals hanging on the wall. Back in the early 60's I bought one from Honest Charley, and used it for a pattern in the high school shop foundry. We probably cast 8 or 10 of them.
You guys don't learn, do ya? Keep telling Kiwi Kevin to stop, and next year he'll be posting pics of his brake pedal museum! BTW... GREAT THREAD!!!
I am looking for a hydraulic throttle assy for my 1965 Kent Fuller car that I ran in England and Australia back in 65 and 66. I see you have one. Would you be willing to sell it. Thanks Bob Keith
nice collection. Don't suppose you would sell me the moon hydraulic throttle set up? I am restoring my 1965 Fuller dragster that I ran in England and then in Australia in 1966. I used this throttle and have been trying to find one for a couple of years. It is the last piece I need. Would really appreciate it. Bob Keith
The only Hydraulic pedal I have is a Glenwood marine pedal. I don't want to sell it. You best bet is getting on some websites for old dragster lovers like wediditforlove.com.
found repop of this at ol speedy bills....but it looks the same and says offy on it too...got it in the topo now...loose at the main pivot, but figure i'' ll drill and bush it...might tighten up once i hook it up to some carbs......we'll see.......
A few from the CHRR swap meet.... No name bolt on. Very light. Aluminum funny car pedal. Another drum pedal. Not gas pedals but aI figured these could go in the collection.
I found this on my front doorstep recently. Turns out my friend Aaron (AKA Savage) saw it at Turlock and thought I might like it......He was right! Found this one in the H.A.M.B. classifieds. Don't know much about it but it sure is funky. Thanks Lazlobassett.
A CT pedal was on my must have list but I have never even seen one for sale until this NOS one popped up in the H.A.M.B. classifieds. It is magnesium. It's my only magnesium pedal. I have only ever seen them used in dragsters. It was out of my price range but I had to have it so I worked out a trade and now it's one of my favorites. thank's RoadFarmer! I have seen different shaped CT pedals but I think they are all cut from the basic foot shaped casting....
Low 80's I think. I will probably stop when I reach 100.........maybe. It is amazing how many different ones there are.
Tried to pm ya back. Says it wont go through till ya free up some space in youre inbox.... Call me @ (530)-354-1711.............
