heres my mine the red and white mobil pump is a 1953 gilbarco model 904 and the silver one is a wayne 1937 model 70 firechief. the 53 is totally restored with all the components if the motor was rewound and gaskets installed it would be a running pump
This is one I restored several years ago. I have several more that need to be restored if anyone is interested.
These are at an abandoned station in the nearly abandoned town of Valentine, TX. Not terribly old, 1960s? The price was $0.79.9.
St.Louis pump you have is a model 230-A Commercial pump circa 1924 approximate value $175 according to Jack Sim's gas pump book. this is my clock faced StL pump model 651 circa 1930.
This one is in front of my house I restored it for Dad and when he past it was moved to my place.Think of him every day when I pull in the driveway. Darrell
Here's one that my grandson and I just finished. It's an old farm pump with no price, just shows gallons.
I have two gravity feeds in the house,I'm a bit of a gas pump junkie!I used to love to restore them now I just like them original.
I know its been a few months since these pics were posted, but I figured what the hell! better late than never. I'm a newby and still findin' new stuff every time I'm online. Anyways, back to the pump. Here is so I'm told one of the more rare pumps out there. I picked it up while working in south Georgia. I went to look at a 55 Chevy and wound up seeing the pump and wanted it instead. Never seeing one like it, I found it hard to believe that it was worth the $10,000 he said it was worth, but couldnt argue either way. He then said he would take $500 and I offered $300. After a long debate, we met in the middle at $400. I feel kinda silly since I have since been offered $20,000 and actually turned it down. The pump is an Erie Double Clockface cash recorder. Some call it the "Erie Empire" because the art deco style looks similar to the Empire State bldg. All that was missing was the piece that mounts on the top and holds the globe plates. The pump was originally a Conoco Bronze. I am still looking for a top piece and some Conoco Bronze decals or pictures if anyone can help.
Here's a restored Gas Statin in Watertown SD, Picture of the owner and a couple of my friends Hot Rods
