I know this was on here before but I cant find the thread. Just heard from the local shop and my tank isnt fixable. So I am looking for a tank that is the best bang for the buck on a 53' Customline.

I prefer to buy one without modifications neccessary.

Mac''s has them, not cheap, but a very good tank. I got one for my 55 when they had free shipping, then the price balanced out pretty good. I see they do have them.

I just bought one on eBay last week for $199 including shipping. I could have gotten a cheaper one but refuse to buy offshore products if I can help it. The one I bought was made in Canada by Spectre I think. It fits like the original, doesn't leak and is good quality, that's all I need from a tank.

Well, here is another one since you guys have steered me in the right direction. Looking for an aluminum radiator for the car too. I heard Champions are nice but they are out of stock till late April and nobody has one. What are other good options priced accordingly?

I got mine from superior radiator in Michigan 2 years ago you have to trim the tabs on side and make your mounting holes . 300 bucks aluminum runs my flatty nice and cool .I have a picture of it in my car in my profile

big shawn, is there anything you would change about the radiator? I was hoping to get a Champion because its a 3 row and they sell for 229 with 30 for shipping. my buddy has one in his Dart and Duster and my father in law has them in his 57's. JUst had good luck with them and I have seen them in person. Sad part is, I cant wait till april to get them to get me one. I am going to try and make some offers on the one you sent the link to. Thanks
