Looking for a vendor that cleans/relines gas tanks in the Central Texas area. Any recommendations?

Thanks a bunch for the suggestions. I'll check it out. I know that Edgewood sells a kit. Anyone tried it? I haven't dropped the tank yet, so who knows. It could be rusty and require repair. Hoping to get to that this weekend.

    Thanks again.

The more I hear about doing this, the less I'm apt to do it. I have a couple of tanks that were done years ago and it seems like with the gas (if you want to call it that) the sealants that are available aren't up to the task. There have been a couple of discussions on the FordBarn about this.

I'd be more inclined to find another tank (a good one) or build a tank.

I just did mine using the POR 15 gas tank restoration kit...$73.00. See pix of before and after. I posted a thread on it.

I called gas tank RE NU in Stockton, and asked about the process. They said they drill as many 7/8" holes as needed in the tank to media blast it, and then solder the holes back up, and seal it. Wasn't too keen on RE NU making all those holes and used POR 15.
