Or is that only over here?

And 85 most then be for starting fires? LOL

  3. Just gone under $2 a litre over here, was up to $2.40 per litre at one stage, there's 3.8 litres per U.S gallon so next time you guys complAin about expensive gas, spare a thought for your hot rodding brothers over here in New Zealand!!

  4. High altitude here (6000 ft) reduces the need for higher octane on average. Still need to choose the one your car likes best. Our cars run great on it for everyday driving. I had never seen 85 octane myself until we moved out west.

$2.25 in Shelton, Washington and $2.45 for the good ethanol free stuff and most people gain about 2 mpg using it. We have a lot of taxes on fuel.

Where I live in Wi.(Waukesha/Jefferson county line) the pump price of regular gas is $2.24. The cheapest I seen it in Wi. is Kenosha/Racine area at $1.99.

I don't know about the price of gas delivered because we don't use much of it but we go through a lot of diesel and we get quotes everyday for a semi load. it is coming down pretty fast. Because of the holiday we got our last semi price on Tuesday Dec. 23, it was $2.47 a gallon to have a semi load of diesel delivered , the price of diesel at the pumps was $3.19. add .09 to it if you buy a partial semi load.

  12. I thought gasoline was illegal in SF?

I think they're going to close the city of All private transportation by 2020.

It cost me $90 a day to park my rental by pier 39!

  14. In 1968,I was a young man 21 years of age; bought a new Roadrunner for $2842.80; Super Shell 104 octane loaded with lead additive was $0.25 per gallon.Today in south Texas, that "panther piss" 84 octane was $1.88 per gallon; those good days are gone forever!

Yeah, the thin air up here in the Rockies altitude doesn't require much octane. When I first moved here and saw 85 octane my jaw dropped.....But no pinging though. Performance dropped off from what it was in thicker air, but you can't fight physics.

Left Indianapolis 1/2/15 and saw $1.979 for regular and got home to Washington State where it is in the $2.60 range. Love the highway taxes here.

Gas prices plummeting here in NZ. Now gone down to $1.81 per Litre (NZ$)

  24. $2.49 (starting to go up). Yup CARB sucks the big one.........a gov branch with no one to answer too, very scarey. 10 more years and it's time to pack it up, I'll miss the beaches and the coast driving (won't miss the over crowding and traffic), but I'll live close enough to drive back (if I miss it that bad).

  25. 1.59.9 yesterday in OKC

  26. $2.33 by me, I hear as low as $2.24, take away the 30¢ NYC tax and it gets even lower.
