    Would like your suggestions.
    I have:
    -Gen 1 SBC 355 10:1 compression
-Single plain with dual Quick Fuel 650's
-Dart Iron Eagle heads with 215cc intake runners. 64cc chambers, 2.02/1.85 valves
    TH400 with 3200 stall
    3.73 rear gear limited slip
All in a 1951 Chevy Styleline Coupe, g***er "tribute/ wanna be" Mostly street/show with limited strip time
Looking for roller cam & hydraulic roller lifters that will give the good lopy sound, snappy response, and performance to compliment "g***er" look & setup.
I just wiped out a lobe & hydraulic lifter from Comp Cam about 5 mins. into 20 minute break in. Bottom of lifter was dished .094"! Followed break in to a T.
Also what companies cams are you all running? Thanks

Try Johnson lifters. What springs are you running and did you make sure they don't bottom out or hit the guides top when fully open?

Did you check to make sure the lifters were rotating and not stuck in a bore being to tight?
