Im building a 55 chevy g***er,327 ,4 11 gears and a super t 10 ******. What would be the correct cl*** for my motor etc? The reason I ask is I'm doing period logos etc . Thanks
NHRA changed the weight/cubic inch ratios almost every year. I don't remember what year this is from, but it can give you a better idea...
Go Byron's G***er Madness site, interesting reading and tons of info like what you're looking for. It's funny how the rules shifted over the years.
ha..ha that's my scan, it's from a Fawcett little pages book around 59-60. Don't forget some tracks had their own cl*** i.d.'s that didn't jive with others, being sanctioned or not etc.
THIS ^^^ My lightened '57 Chevy wagon, with a 317ci small block, factors into B/G for the mid '60s. -Brad
The build is mid 60s the motor is a 1964 corvette ,double hump heads with 202 valves, solid lift duntov 30/30 cam. It sings at 7000rpm! The frame is cleaned up of all extra tabs and the leaf springs are pocketed into the frame. ****** is a super T 10 with a early nova rear end and 3.55 gears. The body is super clean with a cool 60s hood scoop and no front bumper or fender wells. I need traction bars that will work with the pocketed frame. So it sounds like my car is B/G cl***
