In MP Cl*** they limited the weight of removable ballast, spare tire, batteries. you picked the lightest car to fit a cl*** with the smallest motor to fit at the top of the weight a ford falcon with a 287 ci Cleveland headed Windsor = 287 x 9.5 = 2726.5 lbs = C/MP you didn't build a car just because you already had it say a 69 nova with a small block 331 ci 331 x 9.5 = 3144.5 a weight you couldn't achieve. you had to use stock heads limited porting. and would be trailered on the first run by the ford. i owned the nova
