Hot Rods Gasser Gasser Gasser!! 1962 Falcon Futura with a Nailhead??

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Chuckles Garage, Dec 16, 2009.

  1. I know you know how I feel about your car but I thought I would tell you again.

    Your car is awesome!!

You know what's funny, I had the same drama on my Skylark thread. It's something that people need to knock everything.

Oh well. Keep up the great work!

Yes, it's funny that way, isn't it.

This thread is 632 replies deep, and maybe 10 of those are negative. This last guy is too much......he must not get enough attention at home. Two wasted pages of him blowing all kinds of nonsense, then a blasphemous picture that has retard grammar in the caption. Amazing.

Great job you guys !!! Now excuse me while I get my sorry ass out to the garage I've got some serious catching up to do... Really great car !!

  4. met you and checked out your falcon at stokes ranch last month...great to see the build thread...my first total build was a '60 falcon w/ hilborn injected 421...I used the econoline dropped axle, but mostly what you did...looking great. See ya at Peggy Sue's this weekend?

  5. Wow, I just wanted to jump in on the 'you ruined a Falcon' kick.

C'mon guys, if someone asks for an opinion ("I'm thinking of doing blah blah blah), give your opinion. If it's a build thread you don't like

BTW, I hope there are more cars ruined like this.

And Chuck can have a hug anytime. But I draw the line way short of handjobs.

(do we have a vomiting emoticon?)

I would love to help you "ruin" your Comet! What kind of motor and trans are we going to "ruin" it with? A/G ruined or A/FX ruined?

    I love ruining cars. alot.

I'm sticking with the 289/T-10 combo.

    What it looks like now:

i love stock and custom cars and i love gassers as well. i guess it all depends on the shape the car is in when you get it and what you are going to be using it as when its finished. for example, id love to drop my wagon to the dirt, maybe chop it, dual spot lights, custom tail lights, skirts, etc. but then i wouldnt drive it daily with the family packed in.

i have a hard time looking at a falcon now, 55 chevy or willys and not thinking how bad ass it would look as a gasser!!

i think im gonna build one sometime but it will be a little less radical cause ill want it for driving around town and sitting in parking lots :D

If anyone feels the need to post any kind of Drama on this Thread, they will not like the results.

That is a nice Falcon, Chuckles.

    A very impressive build...

There will be t-shirts available soon, stay tuned to this station for further details. BTW, that logo was done by the HAMB's very own Hidden.

WHEW!! That bird definitely looks and sounds the part. BAAAAADDDDDDDD!!

  18. Car keeps lookin better and better, you said you were getting ready to plumb it, I guess the 1500 foot garden hose didn't work out ? :D LOL

It still amazes me that some people feel the need to go into threads that have nothing to do with anything they are interested in and post negative comments. Like was posted earlier, I don't see anywhere in the thread title that asks for opinions. Is it that they just want to show how big of an ass they are by posting negative comments in any thread that goes against their thinking. Some people need to remember what their parents should have taught them, if you have nothing good to say, keep your f#ckin mouth shut.

Keep up the great work and is the hand back to 100% yet ?

    Thanks Paulie...

hand is 100 percent, and the garden hose thing will be obsolete by the end of the week haha.

Here's some video of the car running that Concreteman took at the Road Zombies BBQ:

Cage is near complete. Still have to do a couple more parts but you get the idea. All the suspension mounting points are tied in, and it is welded directly to the added subframe in 4 places. I didn't want to go nuts and do a full halo and such because It doesn't fit the period and this is an exhibition car. The cage as it is is WAY more than this thing would have had in 1965 anyways. It's safe, and plenty strong.

I've been following this thread for some time now. Your Falcon project is very impressive. I know you'll have a great time with the car when it's finished. Keep up the good work!

Ponchopowered, your avatar shows a gasser '56 Pontiac. Is that a real car or a dream depiction? I'd love to see a pic of it if it is real. I love non period correct gassers. I'm building one right now. Thanks Mark L
