That car is downright perfect. When you started the project, I was collecting parts to build a setback FE-powered AWB '62 Falcon myself. But you made yours so bad ass...I just gave up and sold the car because I'm not worthy. Any Falcon gasser built after this just won't compare...you set a new standard. Fear not, my FE will be stuffed into my '53 Ford Coupe, which was an old drag car from the 60's. ;)

Please get some videos up as soon as you get the trans issues worked out. I'm also curious to know how well those ladder bars work when the tires are hot.

  8. Do you have the equipment/experience to do this, or would you farm it out? That would be really cool, make sure to take lots of photos.

The front hood panel looks great on a Falcon Gasser- just enough to make a header panel infront of the hood- keep the rest as a pin-on that you can take or leave off. Cooler than the other side of the pillow.

My friend Serge just dropped off the new tow rig for the Strange Bird. I did some horse trading with him for it. It's a 1964 fairlane 500 wagon that has had all the bodywork and paint done.

I'm thinking it may get a 401 or a 425 Nailhead for motivation. It actually makes sense this time hahaha. I may be a sissy and just stuff a 351 into it....we will see.

It's already the same white as the Strange Bird will be, just needs some red on the rear quarters.

I'll build some kind of hitch and strengthen the subframe as well.

The work on this will be done while The Strange Bird is getting painted and lettered.

That is the perfect choice to haul the Bird around. Those big rear windows look awfully bare, they need to be filled up with some decals. ;) :D
